Did you know that almost half of Australia's workforce are women (47%), and women represent 44% of all professional roles? This may seem expected, however when we zoom in on Australia's technology sector a significant gap appears, with a declining share of only 29% of this workforce identifying as a woman.

This lack of diversity not only impacts the design of the technology we use, it also contributes to Australia’s digital gender divide.  Given the rapid evolution of AI and its impact on how we work, there is a need for women to close their technical skill gap, ensuring they are not left behind.
